Aluminum degassing with rotor effect pump

This degassing technology allows to obtain a very high degassing efficiency because by sucking the metal of the bottom of the containment basin by pump effect, it is able to treat all the metal contained in the basin (with traditional rotors, the area between the bottom of the basin and the base of the rotor is not crossed by the gas bubbles and thus not treated).

This result is obtained through the rotor that with its shape, during rotation sucks the metal from the bottom of the basin expelling it from the side cavities, mixed with the treatment gas in the form of bubbles with small dimensions and well distributed.

We can obtain the following advantages, with the pump effect created by this rotor:

  • reduction of degassing cycle times

  • Device that allows the display of the gas pressure contained in two different bottle gas.

  • It uses the output voltage of the pressure reducer transducer or adapters available for this purpose.

  • Entirely programmable as in the standard OB-OXID version, this device also allows you to view the low pressure through an additional display, for managing the quantity of gas output in m2 / h, with an alarm signal if the quantity of mtq / h falls below the minimum set value.

  • Available in the EASY and AUTO versions, the AUTO version allows you to activate the OB OXI SWITCH bottle gas exchanger in manual or automatic form.

  •  High precision and great visibility thanks to the value displayed in numerical and graphic form.

  •  Equipped with alarms for the detection of faults and absence of gas in compliance with the IEC60601 standard Equipped with alarm silence circuit for a maximum period of 3 minutes.

  • The device has a special function for periodic verification of correct operation and the absence of faults.

  • Possibility to remotely remote empty cylinder alarms in the cockpit.
