VACUUM PUMP
The vacuum pump system with Pyrex glass bell, allows you to quickly identify the amount of hydrogen in the liquid aluminum, contained in a stainless steel crucible and solidified in depression at - 0.8 bar.
Everything is composed of an aluminum base, where the crucible with the molten metal and the vacuum bell is housed, an aluminum air filter, a check valve, an ON-OFF switch, a vacuum gauge that indicates the degree of vacuum inside the bell during the operation and by an oil lubricated vacuum pump powered at V 200-240 Hz 50/60 Kw. 0.70.
The desired depression value can be set according to the needs and maintained automatically, to obtain a repetitiveness of the checks and to keep the depression constant during the solidification of the metal.
The overall dimensions of the system are: 650 x 180 x 300 mm. for a total weight of 13 kg.

TIMED VACUUM PUMP
Everything is composed of an aluminum base, where the crucible with the molten metal and the vacuum bell is housed, an aluminum air filter, a check valve, a vacuum gauge that indicates the degree of vacuum inside the bell during the operation and by an oil-lubricated vacum pump powered at V 200-240 Hz 50/60 Kw. 0.70.

An ON-OFF switch activates the pre-set cycle time with automatic opening of the drain solenoid valve at the end of the cycle.
The desired depression value can be set according to the needs and maintained automatically, to obtain a repetitiveness of the checks and to keep the depression constant during the solidification of the metal.
The overall dimensions of the system are: 650 x 180 x 300 mm. for a total weight of 13 kg.

THERMO ANALYSIS
Features:
- In a very short time, through the thermoanalysis it is possible to verify the degree of refinement and modification of the aluminum alloys,
from reading a graph generated during the solidification of the alloy in a crucible,
with a very simple and quick operation.
- The thermoanalysis instrument removable from the base, can be transported freely to any point of the operating area, useful with the 6 entry points,
to quickly control and manage the temperature of the critical areas of the mold, as well as storing and extracting all recorded data
- In the structure of the thermoanalysis, a mold has been inserted for the production of the sample for the visual verification of the "MACROGRAPHY", for a confirmation of the data collected by the thermoanalysis.
- Nb If requested, we can provide the training course for the correct use of the tool and learning of the functions, carried out by a ns. recognized technician competent in the sector,
the cost to be quantified.

MACROGRAPHY verification case
- FRACTURE of the refining and modification of aluminum alloys
Case components:
- N. 2 bottles of 1000 gr./ each Two types of acid to obtain the visual macrography of the alloy sample to be analyzed.
- N. 1 steel mold with base in insulating material for casting the sample for macrographic verification of the alloy refinement
- N. 1 steel / refractory mold for ingot sample casting for fracture verification, refining and modification of the alloy
- N. 1 spray can of boron ceramic paint to be used as a release agent on the surfaces of the two molds for the production of the samples to be analyzed.

PENETRANT LIQUIDS
Defect analysis in the casting,
with i"PENETRANT LIQUIDS".
The non-destructive test of penetrating liquids is a procedure for inspecting the surface integrity of a ferrous or non-ferrous and possibly superficially non-porous piece being analyzed. The piercing comes
sprinkledby spraying, brush or
immersion thus allowing action
capillary to act for the necessary time
penetration into any emerging defects. Subsequently the excess penetrant
is removed. At the end of this procedure
which takes place by washing, removing withclothes
wet or immersion in emulsifiable liquid,
the surface must be free from traces of penetrant. Finally the piece is sprinkled with acontrast medium called detector (in the same manner as the application of the penetrant), which will thus allow the liquid that has penetrated into any discontinuities to surface again. It will thus be possible, thanks to the action of the capillarity, to detect the various possible defects on the piece under examination. Typically the penetrant is red / purple (color linked to the presence of aneline), while the detector (based on amorphous silica) is white; this chromatic difference makes it possible to make any emerging defect easily visible.

-
Section of a material with a surface imperfection not visible to the naked eye
2. Application of the RED penetrant
3. Removal of excess liquid
4. The application of the WHITE contrast liquid makes the imperfection visible
I "PENETRANT LIQUIDS"Can be applied in the following ways:
-
Spray application, only in the areas of interest
-
Application by brush, only in the areas of interest
-
Immersion of the jet
