LONG-LIFE ISO CRUCIBLE

The characteristics of the LONG-LIFE ISO CRUCIBLE are particularly appreciated when used on electric and combustion furnaces, for the following reasons:

Excellent transmission of heat from the combustion chamber to the metal, thus reducing energy consumption and obtaining a rapid response when an increase in temperatures is required.

Greater capacity and more homogeneous transmission of temperatures, both in the upper part of the crucible and in the lower part (due to the shape of the crucible walls that reach almost to the bottom of the crucible vertically and parallel to the heating elements of the furnace).

The pyrometric pocket reaches up to 60% of the crucible depth, to improve the detection of the temperature of the metal, even when it is being emptied from the metal.The pyrometric pocket is an enlarged wall and an integral part of the crucible (not glued).

The mix and painting have been developed to decrease the formation of slag on the walls, thus obtaining good and rapid cleaning, with a consequent decrease in breakages due to traumatic cleaning systems when significant thicknesses of slag are formed on the wall , which do not allow a good expansion of the crucible during the heating and cooling phase.
